250 GT Berlinetta SWB “Revival” by GTO Engineering

This Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta SWB re-creation was constructed by GTO Engineering in Reading, England, as part of the marque restoration specialists’ limited-run “Revival” series on commission for its current owner between 2020 and 2023.

Ferrari introduced the short-wheelbase variant of the 250 GT Berlinetta at the 1959 Paris Motor Show featuring Pininfarina-styled and Scaglietti-built bodywork over a 2,400mm-wheelbase chassis. Approximately 175 examples were built with either steel or aluminum coachwork, the latter of which was applied mainly to the model’s competition variant.

Design elements include oval brake-cooling ducts projecting from the front valance, Marchal headlights, grille-mounted fog lamps, teardrop-shaped front side markers, a hood scoop, angled vents behind each wheel arch, a faired cabin vent integrated into the rear window, bullet-style side mirrors, an external fuel filler cap, and quad SNAP exhaust outlets.

The cabin houses a pair of fixed-back bucket seats trimmed in Wildman & Bugby Tuscan Cigar Aniline leather with matching upholstery over the door panels and center tunnel. Additional features include color-matched carpeting, roll-up windows with quarter vents, black lap belts, sun visors, a Pinin Farina-branded ashtray, a cigarette lighter, a leather-wrapped roll bar, and air conditioning, the latter of which was serviced in April 2026. The trunk is trimmed in brown carpeting and hosts a hand-held fire extinguisher.

The wood-rimmed steering wheel sits ahead of Veglia instrumentation including an 8k-rpm tachometer and a 190-mph speedometer. The five-digit odometer shows 685 miles, all of which have been added under current ownership.

A quintet of instruments at center dash includes a clock and gauges monitoring oil pressure, oil temperature, coolant temperature, and fuel level.

The 3.5-liter V12 is said to have been built by GTO Engineering and features spark plugs positioned on the outer side of each bank, dual distributors, and triple Weber 40 DCL6 carburetors topped by an isolator tray and dual intake trumpets.

Polished Borrani wire wheels are secured by three-eared knock-offs and are wrapped in 205/70R15 Avon tires showing 2022 date codes. Stopping is handled by Dunlop four-wheel disc brakes with aluminum calipers. The car is equipped with a 17:1 steering ratio.
